Mike Crabtree Saskatchewan: Beginning in 1985 at Schlumberger Inc., Mike Crabtree developed a rich foundation in energy engineering across multiple continents. His experience in diverse markets set the stage for his later leadership roles. In 2013, Mike joined the Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) as Vice-President of the Energy Division, launching innovative projects like the Post Chops Well Test Centre. As President and CEO since 2019, he has driven SRC to develop North America’s first Rare Earth Processing Facility and initiate pioneering microreactor projects, emphasizing sustainable energy solutions. Mike has also shaped the industry as Chairman of Quickthree Solutions and WFI Inc., bringing strategic growth and innovation to these companies. His advocacy for sustainable practices is highlighted by his work with Carbon Engineering, advancing carbon capture technologies. Balancing his professional life, Mike enjoys squash, skiing, and blues guitar.
